The 2025 Student Creativity Program (PKM) Proposal Development and Guidance Workshop is an activity designed to provide an in-depth understanding of the latest PKM guidelines that students and accompanying lecturers have been waiting for. The event was held at the Audiovisual Room Craft Building Lt. 3 FSRD ISI Yogyakarta on May 7, 2025, involving speakers who are competent in their fields. Students who attended were not only from the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design, but invited student representatives from the Faculty of Performing Arts (FSP) and the Faculty of Recording Media Arts (FSMR). The Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Alumni of FSP and FSMR also attended the event. The main purpose of this workshop was to dissect the PKM 2025 Guidelines which underwent many significant changes compared to previous guidelines. According to data from the Ministry of Education and Culture, this change aims to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of PKM programs in all universities in Indonesia.

The objectives of this event include providing valid information about changes in the PKM 2025 guidelines, as well as organizing a clinic on the results of student PKM proposals. This is important considering the large number of students participating in this program. With this workshop, students are expected to understand and utilize the latest guidelines to improve their chances in the competition. The attendance of participants also showed high enthusiasm for this program. In this event, there were 126 students from the Faculty of Fine Arts whose proposals had passed to the institutional level, 14 accompanying lecturers, as well as several faculty officials such as the Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Alumni FSRD. This activity was also attended by a committee of 12 people, all of whom collaborated to make the event a success. The opening of the event was conducted by the Vice Dean 3 FSRD, who emphasized the importance of PKM in developing student creativity and innovation in this modern era.

Thus, this workshop is not only a learning event, but also a platform to strengthen the network between students and lecturers and improve the quality of proposals submitted. Great expectations arise after this activity, where students are expected to be able to compile proposals in accordance with PKM 2025 guidelines and submit them on time through the Simbelmawa system. Thus, success in PKM is expected to contribute to improving the quality of higher education in Indonesia.

The material presented in this workshop was very diverse and covered various important aspects of PKM 2025. Dr. Seddy Setyawan, M.Sn. as the first speaker, discussed about PIMNAS (National Student Scientific Week) which is a prestigious event for students to present their work. According to statistics, PIMNAS has been attended by more than 2,000 proposals each year, and has become an important indicator in assessing the quality of student creativity in Indonesia. In his discussion, he also emphasized the importance of substance in the proposal, as well as how creativity can be integrated with clear research objectives.

The second speaker, Retno Purwandari, S.S., M.A., explained the points of change in the 2024 and 2025 PKM guidelines. One significant change is the emphasis on PKM Riset Sosial Humaniora (RSH) and PKM Riset Eksakta (RE) which now have their own guidelines. This is expected to provide more specific space for students in their respective fields to develop more focused and quality proposals. Retno also explained the PKM ISI 2025 timeline, which is an important reference for students in preparing proposals and following each stage determined.

Dilla Octavianingrum, S.Pd., M.M. as the third speaker, explained about the points of PKM 2025 administrative selection. In this case, Dilla said that the proposal scheme now focuses more on PKM Entrepreneurship (K) and PKM Community Service (PM). With this change, students are expected to better understand the criteria set and prepare proposals that meet the expectations of the jury. Data shows that proposals that follow this latest scheme have a higher success rate in obtaining funding.

The event was also attended by the moderator, Dra. Titiana Irawani, M.Sn., who directed the discussion and provided opportunities for participants to ask questions. The interaction between speakers and participants was very dynamic, with many questions asked about the obstacles faced in preparing proposals. This shows that students are very enthusiastic to dig deeper into PKM and try to maximize their potential in this program.

Overall, the core material presented in this workshop provided valuable insights for students and accompanying lecturers. With a better understanding of the PKM 2025 guidelines, students are expected to improve the quality of their proposals and contribute to the development of innovation in society.

After this workshop, the hope is that students can compile proposals that are in accordance with the latest PKM 2025 guidelines. In addition, students are expected to submit PKM 2025 proposals to Simbelmawa on time. Discipline in submitting proposals is very important, given the strict deadlines set by the Ministry. By understanding the timeline that has been explained in the workshop, students are expected to be able to plan their time better, so that no proposals are submitted late.

Furthermore, it is expected that many proposals from ISI Yogyakarta will qualify for PKM 2025 funding. Data shows that universities that are active in organizing workshops and mentoring have a higher success rate in getting funding. Therefore, this activity is expected to be a good first step to increase student participation in PKM.

PKM has become an important part of the higher education ecosystem in Indonesia. Through this program, students not only hone their academic abilities, but also their practical skills and entrepreneurial spirit. The emphasis on developing soft skills is very relevant, considering that the world of work today increasingly demands graduates who not only have knowledge, but also the ability to adapt and innovate.

Thus, great expectations arise after this activity, where students will be more prepared and confident in preparing quality proposals. Through PKM, students are expected to be able to contribute significantly in solving various challenges in society, as well as creating a creative and innovative young generation.

The Workshop on Making and Guiding PKM 2025 Proposals FSRD ISI Yogyakarta is expected to have a positive impact on students and accompanying lecturers. With an in-depth discussion of the latest PKM guidelines, students are expected to better understand the criteria and procedures that must be followed in preparing proposals. This is very important, given the intense competition in this program.

Success in PKM is not only measured by the number of proposals received, but also by the quality and impact generated. Therefore, it is important for students to not only focus on the administrative aspects, but also on the substance and innovation contained in their proposals. Thus, PKM can be a vehicle for students to express creative ideas and contribute to solving problems in society.
