Yogyakarta, February 19, 2026 - Proud achievements were again made by students of the Indonesian Institute of Arts (ISI) Yogyakarta. The student team won 1st place in the Team Category in the national photography competition organized by the Federation of Indonesian Senifoto Societies (FPSI).
The competition is part of an effort to strengthen and regenerate national photography involving participants from various universities and photography communities in Indonesia. The success of ISI Yogyakarta students in the event emphasizes the academic quality and creative capacity of students in the field of photography.
The students who are members of the team that won 1st place in the Team Category are:
- Eka Putri Wulandari (NIM 2511541031)
- Ferdian Galih Saputra (NIM 2511592031)
- Muhammad Raid Ahyan (NIM 2511581031)
All three showed dedication, creativity, and solid teamwork from the conceptualization stage of the work to the competition presentation. This achievement also strengthens ISI Yogyakarta's position as an art higher education institution that consistently produces superior talent in the field of photography.
The Dean of the Faculty of Recording Media Arts ISI Yogyakarta expressed his appreciation for this achievement.
“This achievement is proof that the learning process at ISI Yogyakarta is not only oriented towards technical mastery, but also on strengthening concepts, collaboration, and student competitiveness at the national level. We are proud of the dedication and hard work of the student team that has brought the institution's good name,” he said.
Likewise, the Head of the Photography Study Program at ISI Yogyakarta emphasized that national competitions like this are a strategic space for students to test the quality of their work and build professional networks.
“We continue to encourage students to actively compete and participate in professional forums. This success is an indicator that ISI Yogyakarta students are able to compete and contribute to the development of Indonesian photography,” he explained.
