Proud achievements were again made by ISI Yogyakarta students. Two students of the Dance Department, Faculty of Performing Arts, ISI Yogyakarta, Dinda Prajna Paramita (class of 2024) and Jerry Bayu Mawardi (class of 2023) won 1st place in the Traditional Dancesport sport at the XVII DIY Regional Sports Week (PORDA) in 2025. The Traditional Dancesport competition at the provincial level was held on September 13, 2025, at Sleman City Hall.
This success is not only a personal pride for both of them, but also brings the name of ISI Yogyakarta at the provincial level. The Traditional Dancesport competition at PORDA DIY is known to demand high skill, physical endurance, and mastery of the art of movement.
Dinda and Jerry were able to combine the dance techniques they learned on campus with the spirit of sportsmanship, so they performed stunningly and managed to outperform competitors from various regions in DIY.
This achievement shows that ISI Yogyakarta students not only excel in the academic and artistic fields, but are also able to compete in sports events based on movement art. This achievement is expected to be an inspiration for other students to continue working and achieving in various fields.
