Balai Litbang Agama Semarang initiated cooperation with ISI Yogyakarta on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, in the VIP Room of the Rectorate of ISI Yogyakarta, at 13.00 - 15.00 WIB. On this occasion the delegation from Balai Litbang Agama Semarang was led directly by the Chairman, Moch. Muhaemin and received by the Rector, Dr. Irwandi, M.Sn. along with the leadership of ISI Yogyakarta and the Chairman of UPA Galeri R.J. Katamsi. With this initiation, it is expected to build a commitment to cooperation between the two institutions in the context of implementing religious moderation.
Religious moderation is a concept that emphasizes the importance of balance in understanding, living, and practicing religious teachings. This principle aims to create harmony in a plural society by avoiding extreme attitudes, both in the form of fanaticism and excessive liberalism.
