The collaboration of the Faculty of Performing Arts (FSP) ISI Yogyakarta and the Sonobudoyo Museum Yogyakarta performed a Wayang Topeng Fragment entitled "Jaya Asmara Jaya Lengkara" on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at the East Pendapa of the Sonobudoyo Museum Yogyakarta, at 20.00 WIB until completion. The performance of Jaya Asmara Jaya Lengkara Fragment involves lecturers and students from the Dance, Karawitan, Ethnomusicology and Performing Arts Education Departments. This collaborative performance was organized as an effort to preserve and disseminate traditional cultural arts by the Faculty of Performing Arts ISI Yogyakarta and Sonobudoyo Museum Yogyakarta.
The performance of Fragment Jaya Asmara Jaya Lengkara gave students the experience of performing in front of the public. Performances like this are needed for students of the Faculty of Performing Arts ISI Yogyakarta to train their mental performance in front of the public. The public is given the opportunity to enjoy traditional art performances by ISI Yogyakarta students.
FSP ISI Yogyakarta has a regular schedule of performances at the Sonobudoyo Museum in Yogyakarta. Performances performed at FSP ISI Yogyakarta are in the form of traditional dance performances, karawitan and wayang orang. The performance at the Sonobudoyo Yogyakarta Museum is a form of implementation of the collaboration between ISI Yogyakarta and the Sonobudoyo Yogyakarta Museum.
