Assistant Rector I of ISI Yogyakarta, Dr. St. Hanggar Budi Prasetya, S.Sn., M.Si. opened the Entrepreneurial Design Thinking Workshop 2023 on Wednesday, May 4, 2023, at Sasana Ajiyasa Building, Faculty of Fine Arts, ISI Yogyakarta. This workshop will take place from May 4 to 12, 2023. Design Thinking Workshop 2023 will be facilitated by Gunnar Spellmeyer and accompanied by two assistants from Hochschule Hannover Germany.
The opening of the 2023 Entrepreneurial Design Thinking Workshop began with remarks from the Head of the ISI Yogyakarta Design Department, remarks from the Assistant Rector I of ISI Yogyakarta and remarks from Gunnar Spellmeyer as a representative of Hochschule Hannover Germany. The ceremony was also attended by the Vice Rector III of ISI Yogyakarta, the Head of the Faculty of Fine Arts ISI Yogyakarta and Lecturers of the Faculty of Fine Arts ISI Yogyakarta.
Entrepreneurial Design Thinking Workshop is an annual agenda organized by both universities. This event is a collaborative activity that opens opportunities to work together in a diverse environment in one design forum and will be attended by students of the Design Department from Hochschule Hannover Germany and students of the ISI Yogyakarta Design Department which will be held offline. This workshop is a form of implementation of cooperation between the two universities.
Workshop participants will do more design thinking practices during the activity. Participants will also participate in visits to local industries and cultural visits such as Cocoon Asia, PT Timbul and the Pottery Museum. This industry visit is an effort to add insight into entrepreneurial and local industries around DIY.
