Friday, March 24, 2023, ISI Yogyakarta and the Ruas Bambu Nusa Foundation held an MoU signing. The signing of this MoU was carried out as a basis for implementing cooperation in the context of implementing the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, the Merdeka Campus Learning Program, and environmental preservation through cultural arts carried out by the two institutions. At the signing of this MoU, ISI Yogyakarta was represented by Prof. Dr. M. Agus Burhan, M.Hum as the rector and the Ruas Bambu Nusa Foundation was represented by Anargha Widyananda as the chairman.
The MoU signing ceremony began with remarks from the Founder of the Ruas Bambu Nusa Foundation, the Director of ISI Yogyakarta and the Head of Wukirsari Village. After the speeches, the event continued with the signing of the MoU and the provision of QR codes on bamboo plants so as to allow visitors to know the description of bamboo plants. The ceremony was closed with a tamban bantu pull to symbolize the establishment of the gate to the bamboo museum that will be built.
In this collaboration, ISI Yogyakarta through the Interior Design Study Program will assist in the design of the bamboo museum to be built by the Ruas Bambu Nusa Foundation, bamboo-based environmental conservation and socialization of ecological literacy. This collaboration provides an opportunity for the Interior Design Study Program to implement the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, the Merdeka Campus Learning Program, while the Ruas Bambu Nusa Foundation will obtain quality human resources in the context of implementing the planned program.
