Participants and Teachers of Jogja International Jazz Camp 2022 held at the Faculty of Performing Arts ISI Yogyakarta held a concert at the ISI Yogyakarta Art Lab. The jazz music concert by participants and teachers of Jogja International Jazz Camp 2022 was held on Sunday, July 17, 2022. This concert was the closing activity of Jogja International Jazz Camp 2022.
This concert was organized to show the results of the participants' learning process during the Jogja International Jazz Camp. The concert also mentally trains the participants of Jogja International Jazz Camp 2022 to play music in front of the public. The frequency of musicians performing in front of the public will increase the competence of playing music from the musician.
The jazz concert is divided into two sessions. The first session will be held from 14.00 to 15.00 WIB and the second session will be held from 15.00 to 17.00 WIB. The first session will feature the work of beginner and intermediate participants, while the second session will feature advanced participants and teachers of Jogja International Jazz Camp. Collaboration between advanced participants and teachers will be performed in big band format.
The closing concert of Jogja International Jazz Camp was attended by the Rector of ISI Yogyakarta, Assistant Rector III of ISI Yogyakarta, Faculty Leaders within ISI Yogyakarta, jazz music observers, jazz music lovers and the general public. Hopefully the organization of this concert will be able to increase the motivation of participants to continue learning jazz music.
