Technology has developed rapidly. Public institutions that provide information services to the public need to make adjustments because technological developments provide opportunities for information to be produced and distributed quickly. Technological developments also provide opportunities for libraries to present information quickly and with quality to the community.
The development of technology has led to information not only being packaged through printed media such as books, journals, newspapers and other printed media formats. Libraries began to acquire, then organize and disseminate e-resources to users. The development of technology in the era of society 5.0 will also make the character of the library and the pattern of information management change. Society in the era of society 5.0 demands that information can be accessed quickly by utilizing products mobile technology owned.
Seeing the importance of e-resources for users and the development of Era 5.0 technology that will affect library management, the UPT Library ISI Yogyakarta was moved to organize a national seminar on the topic. Through this seminar, UPT Perpustakaan ISI Yogyakarta hopes to get an overview of the urgency of e-resources for users and the impact of technology era 5.0 technology for library management. The national seminar with the topic "E-Resources and Technology Trend Era 5.0" is planned to be held on October 21, 2021 online, at 09.00 to 12.00 WIB. In this seminar, two speakers Agus Rifai, S.Ag., S.S., M.Ag., Ph.D. (Lecturer in Library Science and Information Science Study Program, YARSI University Jakarta) and Mukhammad Andri Setiawan, S.T., M.Sc., Ph.D. (Lecturer and Chief Information Officer at Universitas Islam Indonesia Yogyakarta) will be presented. The seminar will be hosted by one of ISI Yogyakarta's young expert librarians, F.L. Agung Hartono, S.Sos.
