Through “99 Years of Golden Footsteps”, ISI Yogyakarta Strengthens Its Position as a Center for Photographic Art Development

Yogyakarta, December 12, 2025 - A collaborative photography exhibition titled 99 Years of Golden Trail was officially held in Yogyakarta, featuring the work of Indonesian photography legend Dr. (HC) H. Soedjai Kartasasmita with 99 photographers. This exhibition is part of the 67th Anniversary of the STIPER Institute of Agriculture (INSTIPER) Yogyakarta.

The exhibition involved cross-institutional collaboration, including INSTIPER, Akademi Komunitas Perkebunan Yogyakarta (AKPY), Yayasan Pendidikan Kader Perkebunan Yogyakarta (YPKPY), and Institut Seni Indonesia (ISI) Yogyakarta. The Faculty of Recording Media Arts ISI Yogyakarta also played an active role in supporting the organization of this exhibition.

The opening of the exhibition was attended by the Rector of ISI Yogyakarta Dr. Irwandi, M.Sn., and the Dean of the Faculty of Recording Media Arts ISI Yogyakarta Dr. Edial Rusli, SE, M.Sn. The presence of ISI Yogyakarta's leadership emphasizes the institution's commitment to supporting the development of photographic art and cross-disciplinary collaboration.

Through the exhibition 99 Years of Golden Trail, The public is invited to witness Soedjai Kartasasmita's long journey and contribution to the world of Indonesian photography while strengthening creative networks between generations of photographers.
