The Visual Communication Design Study Program, FSR, ISI Yogyakarta prepared several things in welcoming the new academic year, odd semester 2024/2025. One of them is by re-mapping partnerships and surveying student needs in the implementation of out-of-class learning. Mapping partnerships is the basis for implementing partnership development, there are 4 regions targeted by the DKV study program, this is based on the database of student origins, student interests and competencies, the scope of partners in relation to the curriculum owned by the DKV Study Program and the projections of DKV study program student graduates.
The meeting was attended by Akbar Maulana S. as CEO of LZY Studio Surabaya and from the DKV Study Program was attended by the PKKM Taskforce Team, namely Daru Tunggul Aji, as chairman of the DKV study program as well as chairman of the taskforce team and team members namely, P. Gogor Bangsa, Lily Elserisa, and Alit Ayu Dewantari.
From the results of these formulations, DKV Study Program explored cooperation with LZY Studio in Surabaya, on June 25-26. LZY studio is a company that is oriented towards video mapping technology. VVideo mapping Indonesia is experiencing rapid growth and is becoming one of the most eye-catching digital art forms at major events. In recent years, video mapping has been widely used in Indonesia, from music concerts to national holiday celebrations.
From the meeting in June, DKV Study Program and LZY Studio agreed to run an internship program under the Merdeka Campus Competition Program (PKKM). The quota for internships at LZY is 3 students who have gone through a selection process organized by the DKV Study Program, the three students are Faiq Fadurrahman, Elisabeth Sihite, Ferel Lensi Mamora. For four months, from August to November, the three students will take out-of-class learning and directly collaborate on projects with LZY Studio.
