The Madiun Regency Government initiated cooperation with ISI Yogyakarta, marked by a request for a coordination meeting to discuss the MoU that had been prepared by the two institutions. The Madiun Regency Government delegation was received directly by the Rector and the Leadership of ISI Yogyakarta, on June 5, 2024, in Meeting Room 1 Rectorate ISI Yogyakarta. This coordination meeting was held to finalize the draft MoU that had been prepared and inventory the potential for cooperation that might be carried out in the context of drafting a cooperation agreement (PKS). This meeting is a follow-up to the Zoom Meeting which was held on March 21, 2024.
At this coordination meeting, Dr. Irwandi, M.Sn. advised that the meeting not only refined the draft MoU that had been prepared, but what was more important was the cooperation plan that would be outlined in the cooperation agreement (PKS). In other words, the MoU that has been prepared is not a sleeping MoU without the implementation of cooperation.
The MoU draft discussion meeting was chaired by the Assistant Rector I ISI Yogyakarta Dr. Dewanto Sukistono, M.Sn. In the discussion of the draft MoU there were no fundamental corrections, more corrections were made to the use of punctuation and the location of sentences or words. After the discussion of the draft MoU, a discussion of the cooperation plan was held which consisted of developing and assisting SMEs, developing human resource capacity in Madiun Regency and promoting Madiun Regency SME products. From the discussion of this cooperation plan, the ISI Yogyakarta Cooperation Team will compile a PKS document which will be sent to the Madiuan Regency Government for correction.
