The Faculty of Fine Arts (FSR) ISI Yogyakarta is exploring cooperation with one of the art colleges in Germany, University of the Arts, Bremen. The exploration of this collaboration began with a joint discussion between the Head of FSR ISI Yogyakarta and Representatives of the University of the Arts, Bremen on March 6, 2024, in the Session Room of FSR ISI Yogyakarta. In the discussion that discussed the potential for cooperation between the two institutions, the Faculty of Fine Arts ISI Yogyakarta was led directly by the Dean of FSR ISI Yogyakarta, Muhamad Sholahuddin, S.T., M.T. and the delegation was led by Prof. Annette Geiger.
In this discussion, the leaders of the delegations tried to introduce the profile of each university. In this discussion, both institutions agreed to establish cooperation in the format of student exchanges, lecturers, joint research and the organization of joint casts.
In order to improve the reputation of ISI Yogyakarta at the international level, FSR ISI Yogyakarta continues to try to establish cooperation with many international universities. In 2023, FSR ISI Yogyakarta has increased the number of international university cooperation partners with universities in Japan and China. At the beginning of 2024, FSR ISI Yogyakarta tried to add foreign cooperation partners by cooperating with the University of the Arts, Bremen.
