Higher education must be able to provide alumni who are relevant to market needs. In the context of the creative industry, alumni are required to have innovation and be able to adapt to technological developments and market trends to be the key to success. The creative industry has become one of the fastest growing economic sectors, contributing significantly to economic growth and job creation.
In an effort to maintain the relevance of higher education, collaboration between academia, business, and alumni is becoming increasingly important. This collaboration provides an opportunity for universities to get direct input from industry on labor market needs and skills required by graduates. Meanwhile, businesses can also utilize the knowledge and skills possessed by universities to develop innovation and improve competitiveness. In this context, the Forum Group Discussion between Business and Industry (DUDI) and Alumni is a very relevant platform. This forum aims to discuss current issues in learning in art colleges, as well as to find joint solutions in improving accessibility, quality of learning, and relevance of higher education at ISI Yogyakarta. Thus, this forum is expected to make a significant contribution in improving the competitiveness of graduates and advancing the creative industry in Indonesia.
