Students of the Department of Ethnomusicology, Faculty of Performing Arts, ISI Yogyakarta will organize a performance of the Ethnic Instrument Study Degree entitled "Saling Silang#3". The performance will be held on December 17-19, 2023, in front of the PSP Building ISI Yogyakarta, starting at 18.30 to 22.00 WIB every day. The performance of the work title is organized as an effort to show the results of learning and training students to perform in front of the public.
Saling Silang is one of the ethnic music performance spaces initiated by Ethnomusicology students of the Faculty of Performing Arts ISI Yogyakarta, this event is the output of the Ethnic Instrument Study Course in the form of an arrangement of Nusantara folk songs. Students are equipped with the knowledge and ability to bring ethnic instruments into the arrangement of Nusantara folk songs. The theme of crossing each other is carried out based on ethnic music A arranged into Ethnic B.
The performance entitled "Saling Silang#3" is open to the general public and free of charge. The general public can watch the works of ethnic music instrument studies produced by students of the Department of Ethnomusicology, Faculty of Performing Arts ISI Yogyakarta.
