ISI Yogyakarta plans to hold the inauguration of three professors on October 18, 2023, at the Concert Hall ISI Yogyakarta, at 08.00 WIB until completion. ISI Yogyakarta will inaugurate Prof. Dr. Suastiwi, M.Des. as a professor of Design Methodology, Prof. Dr. St. Hanggar Budi Prasetya, S.Sn., M.Si. as a professor of Pedalangan Anthropology and Prof. Dr. Andre Indrawan, M.Hum. as a professor of Musicology. The professors will be inaugurated through a procession of the ISI Yogyakarta Open Senate Session.
ISI Yogyakarta managed to increase the number of professors in the fields of art design, puppetry and music. Previously ISI Yogyakarta also had professors in the fields of puppetry, dance, music and fine arts. The addition of these professors guarantees the quality of education offered by ISI Yogyakarta and is an asset for one of the state art campuses in Indonesia to continue to take part at the international level.
The inauguration of these three professors is a sweet gift for ISI Yogyakarta which is 39 years old. Hopefully the professors who have just been inaugurated will be able to continue to work and collaborate with lecturers, students and education personnel so as to realize ISI Yogyakarta as a leading and internationally reputable art college.
