The Student Association of Film and Television Study Program, Institut Seni Indonesia Yogyakarta will organize Sewon Screening 9 with the title "Refleksi". Sewon Screening this year has reached its 9th year and this year will be held from September 25th to 30th at the Faculty of Recording Media Arts (FSMR) ISI Yogyakarta. Sewon Screening 9 will be filled with movie screenings, discussions and workshops.
Sewon screening is one of the student film festivals that is consistently present and continues to grow every year. This annual activity organized by students is a form of sensitivity to the tendency to understand that film is a product that should be appreciated and developed further. Sewon Screening wants to participate in deconstructing the essence, function, and potential of a film work for the advancement of the film ecosystem in Indonesia.
Sewon screening not only brings together films and audiences as film lovers but also a place to network communities, film activists, and of course the general public. By meeting communities, film activists and the public, hopefully it will be a means of reflection for the films shown so that they can improve the quality of the films produced.
