The Music Presentation Study Program (Prodi), Faculty of Performing Arts, ISI Yogyakarta again presents international musicians to fill the workshop "The Language of Sound: Improvisation, Creativity, and Instant Musical Creation". In this workshop, the Music Presentation Study Program of FSP ISI Yogyakarta invited Spanish Jazz musician, Rodrigo Parejo. The workshop will be held on September 20, 2023, at the Mini Concert Ethnomusicology, Faculty of Performing Arts, ISI Yogyakarta, at 13.00 - 17.00 WIB.
Rodrigo Parejo (1981), is a Spanish jazz musician, improviser, researcher, composer and educator. Rodrigo Parejo conducts his artistic activities in the Netherlands, Spain and Southeast Asia. He is regularly active in the music scene of Jazz, Contemporary Dance and Experimental improvised music between Europe, Asia and the US, performing a variety of styles: from minimalist meditative solo performances to explosive free jazz orchestras, contemporary ensembles, ethnic... Music Presentation Study Program, FPS ISI Yogyakarta will continue to invite international musicians as an effort to increase competence and knowledge from world-class musicians.
This workshop is free and open to the ISI Yogyakarta academic community. For academics who are interested in participating in this workshop can scan the barcode at the bottom of the news. By presenting international musicians as speakers, it is hoped that they will be able to provide new knowledge for the ISI Yogyakarta academic community which has not been obtained in college.
