Two lecturers from the Faculty of Recording Media Arts (FSMR) ISI Yogyakarta were the resource persons for the Photography Residency held at Padepokan Fotografi Bromo on September 3 for the next two weeks. Dr. Irwandi, M.Sn. and Aji Susanto, M.Sn., along with senior photographers such as Rio Helmi and Oscar Motuloh during this residency. This year's Photography Residency carries the interesting topic "Landscape Photography's Call to Action: Preserving Bromo Amidst Mass Tourism".
Photography Residency is an activity participated by young nature-loving photographers to campaign for the beauty of Mount Bromo. This activity was attended by young photographers from France, Germany and Indonesia. This activity aims to invite all parties to maintain the beauty and sustainability of Bromo, which is one of the most beautiful places in the world.
The Photography Residency was organized in collaboration with the Institute Francais Indonesie, Goethe Institute, Wisma Jerman, Jiwa Jawa Indonesia and Padepokan Fotografi Bromo as the host.
