ISI Yogyakarta held the 2023/2024 Darmasiswa Orientation on Friday, September 1, 2023 at the ISI Yogyarta campus. This orientation activity began with a ceremonial reception of Darmasiswa, an explanation of academic rules, followed by an introduction to the ISI Yogyakarta profile and a campus tour to further introduce ISI Yogyakarta to Darmasiswa. The Darmasiswa orientation event was attended by the Head of ISI Yogyakarta, the Head of the International Affairs Unit of ISI Yogyakarta, the Dean, Assistant Dean I at ISI Yogyakarta and the Head of the Darmasiswa recipient Study Program.
In this orientation, Darmahasiswa was received by the leadership of ISI Yogyakarta represented by the Vice Rector I, ISI Yogyakarta, Dr. Irwandi, M.Sn. In his speech, Dr. Irwandi, M.Sn. introduced the officials in ISI Yogyakarta and Darmasiswa to study seriously at ISI Yogyakarta. In this orientation, Dr. Irwandi, M.Sn. also put on the alma mater jacket symbolically to Darmasiswa.
The explanation of academic rules was delivered by Drs. Esti Hapsari Saptiasih and the management of the ISI Yogyakarta Profile was delivered by Silvia A. Purba, M.Sn., Head of the ISI Yogyakarta International Affairs Unit. In her presentation, Dra. Esti Hapsari conveyed various academic regulations that must be obeyed by Darmasiswa such as how to dress, attendance rules and the obligation to make reports every three months. Meanwhile, Silvia A. Purba, M.Sn., delivered a brief history of ISI Yogyakarta, faculty profiles and postgraduate programs as well as various facilities owned by ISI Yogyakarta.
Darmasiswa orietnation activities ended with filling out immigration forms and campus tours. Darmasiswa was invited to walk around the village to get to know the environment of the faculty, geleri and library.
