Students of the Faculty of Recording Media Arts (FSMR) ISI Yogyakarta have passed the selection and will intern at the Press, Media and Information Bureau of the Presidential Secretariat from August 1 to December 31, 2023. FSMR ISI Yogyakarta students who will intern include Abbiyyu Ramadhani, Aditya Nugroho and Ardiansyah Alam from the Photography Study Program and Falih Fairus Sirajuddin, M. Azka Linnajah and Nafa Fania' Andani from the Film and Television Study Program. The six students managed to beat their colleagues as recommended candidates for internships at the Press, Media and Information Bureau of the Presidential Secretariat.
Students who will take part in work internships at the Bureau of Press, Media and Information of the Presidential Secretariat have previously gone through a selection process that has been carried out by FSMR ISI Yogyakarta. The selection process is based on the criteria determined by the Bureau of Press, Media and Information of the State Secretariat. After participating in the selection, students continued to take part in training in the fields of photography and video journalism organized by FSMR ISI Yogyakarta. With this training, students are expected to be ready to carry out documentation activities in photo and video format in the Presidential Secretariat environment.
This student internship activity is an implementation of the Merdeka Belajar - Kampus Merdeka program. This internship in the Merdeka Belajar - Kampus Merdeka era provides an opportunity to be converted into 20 credits. Through this internship program, it is hoped that it will provide students with more real experience related to activities in the world of work so that they are ready to compete in the world of work. The theory and practice obtained by students in the fields of photography, film and television will try to be applied at the Press, Media and Information Bureau of the Presidential Secretariat.
