ISI Yogyakarta held the release of Professor Prof. Dr. A.M. Hermin Kusmayanti, S.S.T., S.U. on Tuesday, July 18, 2023, at ISI Yogyakarta Concert Hall. The release of this professor was marked by the launch of a book entitled "Dancing with Saraswati: Prof. Dr. A.M. Hermin Kusmayanti, S.S.T., S.U." and the performance of several traditional dances. The book launching was marked by a symbolic handover of the book from the Rector of ISI Yogyakarta who on this occasion was represented by the Vice Rector I of ISI Yogyakarta, Dr. Irwandi, M.Sn., S.Sn to the family representative. The traditional dances performed at the ceremony included Tyas Muncar Dance by the academics of the Yogyakarta State Cultural Community Academy, Beksan Bandabaya by Pura Pakualaman and Bedhayan Kusumaningtyas by the lecturers of the Dance Department of Institut Seni Indonesia Yogyakarta.
According to Dr. Rina Martiara, M.Hum. as the chairman of the ceremonial committee, the release of Professors is a routine agenda held at ISI Yogyakarta when a professor has entered his retirement period, but has not had time to enter his retirement period, God loves him more by calling him to return to His presence in 2020. Furthermore, he presented a book entitled "Dancing with Saraswati: Prof. Dr. A.M. Hermin Kusmayanti, S.S.T., S.U." is a potpourri of writings from teaching staff at Institut Seni Indonesia Yogyakarta, colleagues, friends, and children of Prof. Hermien, successfully collected, edited, and presented to the public, especially the audience of art scientists, especially dance in Indonesia.
