The Task Force Team for the Establishment of Applied Undergraduate Film and Television Production Study Programs together with the Assistant Rector I, ISI Yogyakarta had an audience with LLDIKTI in Region 5 on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 and took place at the Grand Zuri Malioboro Hotel. This audience was held in order to obtain Recommendations for the Establishment of Applied Undergraduate Film and Television Production Study Programs. Through the establishment of this new study program, it is hoped that ISI Yogyakarta will be able to produce human resources in the field of film and television production who are competent and able to be quickly absorbed by the world of work. The need for human resources in the field of film and television encourages ISI Yogyakarta to establish a Film and Television Production Study Program.
On this occasion, the Task Force Team for the Establishment of the Applied Undergraduate Film and Television Production Study Program and the Assistant Rector I of ISI Yogyakarta had the opportunity to present the profile of the new study program to the Head of LLDIKTI Region 5. On this occasion the Team presented related courses, facilities owned by ISI Yogyakarta, profiles of teaching staff and job prospects for graduates. The existence of this new study program will complement the Film and Television Study Program that ISI Yogyakarta already has.
Graduates and this study program can also be entrepreneurs in the field of recording media arts. Graduates of the Applied Bachelor of Film and Television Production Study Program can become content creators and build film production houses. The establishment of this new study program is in line with the ideals of ISI Yogyakarta to continue to build and encourage the entrepreneurial spirit of students so that they are able to create new job opportunities in the arts.
