The Rector of ISI Yogyakarta, Prof. Dr. M. Agus Burhan, M.Hum., closed the Yogyakarta Provincial Student Art Week (Peksimiprov) 2022. The closing ceremony of Peksimiprov DIY 2022 was held at the Concert Hall ISI Yogyakarta, on September 9, 2022. The closing ceremony was attended by the leadership of ISI Yogyakarta, representatives of universities that are members of the Indonesian Student Art Advisory Board (BPMSI) Special Region of Yogyakarta and students participating in Peksimiprov DIY 2022.
Peksimiprov DIY 2022 is an art competition held as a forum for students in Yogyakarta to improve their quality and practical skills in the fields of sound, performance, fine arts, and literature. The art competition is expected to motivate students to continue to improve their competence in the fields of art and literature. Peksimiprov is held annually and was stopped due to the pandemic.
The closing of Peksimiprov DIY 2022 began with remarks from the Vice Rector III of ISI Yogyakarta, Muhamad Sholahuddin, S.Sn., M.T. as Chairperson of the members of the Indonesian Student Art Advisory Board (BPMSI) Yogyakarta Special Region. The event continued with remarks from the Rector of ISI Yogyakarta, Prof. Dr. M. Agus Burhan, M.Hum. as well as closing Peksimiprov DIY 2022. The closing ceremony ended with the announcement of the winners of the various competitions held at Peksimiprov DIY 2022.
The closing of the DIY Peksimiprov was also enlivened by the presence of Anting LIDA or Anting Lambangsih who is an alumni of the Karawitan Study Program of ISI Yogyakarta and performances from other ISI Yogyakarta students. The various performances that were displayed further enlivened the Closing of Peksimiprov DIY 2022.
