ISI Yogyakarta and RRI Yogyakarta collaborate to support the implementation of the Tri Dharma of higher education, the Merdeka Belajar - Kampus Merdeka program and the development of cultural arts. This collaboration was marked by the signing of the MoU by the two university leaders on Wednesday, June 8, 2022. At the signing of this MoU, ISI Yogyakarta was represented by the Rector, Prof. Dr. M. Agus Burhan, M.Hum. and LPP RRI Yogyakarta was represented by Drs. Danang Prabowo as the highest leader of the public broadcasting institution.
In his remarks, the Rector of ISI Yogyakarta, Prof. Dr. M. Agus Burhan, hoped that this collaboration would not only stop at the ceremonial signing of the cooperation document. The MoU that has been signed is expected to be implemented in an internship program that will provide real experience for students related to the world of broadcasting. Hopefully this MoU will truly be able to support the implementation of the Tri Dharma of higher education, Merdeka Belajar Program - Merdeka Campus and the development of cultural arts.
According to Drs. Danang Prabowo, cooperation with ISI Yogyakarta is very important to support various broadcast programs related to arts and culture. Various study programs at ISI Yogyakarta can support the implementation of arts and culture programs that currently exist such as ketoprak, macapat and karawitan. This collaboration also provides opportunities for students to apply their knowledge in the world of work.
On this occasion, MoUs were also signed with other universities and UMKM development institutions in Yogyakarta. Other universities that participated in the MoU signing were MMTC Yogyakarta and Yogyakarta University of Technology.
