The Faculty of Fine Arts (FSR) ISI Yogyakarta held an Entrepreneurship Technical Guidance (Bimtek) on Monday, June 2, 2022 and took place at the Sasana Ajiyasa FSP ISI Yogyakarta Building. This Entrepreneurship Guidance was held for FSR ISI Yogyakarta students and was attended by leaders and lecturers in the FSR ISI Yogyakarta environment. In this Bimtek, the speakers were Ir. Arif Rahman Hakim, M.S. (Secretary of the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs RI), Drs. Soewardi, M.Sn. (Indonesian Sculptor Association, PKM reviewer and PIMNAS jury), Bayu Arya, S.Sn (CV. Hot Wax Studio). The speakers who came from government representatives, academics and entrepreneurs are expected to be able to encourage students to become strong entrepreneurs in the field of art.

The Entrepreneurship Guidance for FSR ISI Yogyakarta students was officially opened by Muhamad Sholahuddin, S.Sn., M.T as Assistant Rector III of ISI Yogyakarta. In his remarks, the Assistant Rector III of ISI Yogyakarta said that the Entrepreneurship Guidance carried out by FSR ISI Yogyakarta was in line with the Merdeka Belajar - Kampus Merdeka program from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology. One of the agendas of the Merdeka Belajar - Kampus Merdeka program is to form students who have an entrepreneurial spirit.

The Entrepreneurship Workshop of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Institut Seni Indonesia Yogyakarta was held to create young entrepreneurs who can strengthen the economy and create new jobs. This guidance was also attended by lecturers as student mentors towards young entrepreneurs. Activities carried out include education and training, mentoring, apprenticeship and development in the field of MSMEs and entrepreneurship.

This activity is a preparation for young entrepreneurs who have higher education and come from art incubation. Art incubation that started from FSR ISI Yogyakarta is the answer to producing young entrepreneurs who are competitive in the global art market and information technology. Art incubation was formed with the aim of producing innovative and superior art businesses. The preparation of students to become entrepreneurs in the field of fine arts is very important. It is hoped that this can strengthen the economic structure of the competitive art entrepreneurship sector. This technical guidance is expected to encourage lecturers and students to be actively involved in activities with industry partners, government and communities. Lecturers and students are encouraged to have experience working in the industry according to their expertise so that they can contribute to the life of the nation and state.
