S-1 Ethnomusicology Study Program Organizes Master Class with Resource Persons from the USA

The S-1 Ethnomusicology Study Program, Faculty of Performing Arts, ISI Yogyakarta will hold a master class entitled "Peeling Ethnic Music Composition" by presenting a resource person from the USA, Dr. Sean Hayward, MFA, BM. The master class entitled "Peeling Ethnic Music Composition" will be held on May 25, 2022, at 09.00 to 12.00 WIB, in the Mini Concert Room, S-1 Ethnomusicology Study Program, Faculty of Performing Arts, ISI Yogyakarta. The organization of this master class aims to provide knowledge about ethnic music composition from the perspective of composers, musicians and teachers from abroad.

Dr. Sean Haryward, MFA, BM is a composer, musician and lecturer at California Institute of the Arts. He has an interest in ethnic music such as gamelan and bamboo music. This interest is reflected in his performance activities, research and research publications. His profile is very suitable to be a narasumer in a master class on the topic of ethnic music.

This master class is open to the general public with limited space capacity. For this reason, people who are interested in participating in the master class can contact the Ethnomusicology S-1 Study Program, Faculty of Performing Arts, ISI Yogyakarta.
