Gamelan is a traditional musical instrument that is often found in various regions in Indonesia. Gamelan is not only played in various traditional activities and religious rituals, but also for performing arts. UNESCO notes Gamelan's philosophical value as a means of cultural expression and building connections between humans and the universe. UNESCO also recognizes that Gamelan, played orchestrally, teaches the values of harmony, mutual respect, love and care for one another. Through this webinar, it is hoped that it will be able to increase participants' knowledge about Gamelan, which has been named by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage.
