The Rector of ISI Yogyakarta, Prof. Dr. M. Agus Burhan, M.Hum. opened a kris exhibition entitled "Rupa Rinengga", on Friday, February 4, 2022, at Galari R.J. Katamsi ISI Yogyakarta. The plan is for this national standard keris exhibition to be held until February 11, 2020. In his remarks, the Rector of ISI Yogyakarta said that ISI Yogyakarta as a university positively welcomed this tosan aji exhibition and became a means of learning to introduce keris to campus residents. He further said that by getting to know keris, it can motivate the academic community of higher education to study keris scientifically.
This exhibition is a collaboration between Galeri R.J. Katamsi ISI Yogyakarta and Perkumpulan Las Gangsir. Galeri R.J. Katamsi ISI Yogyakarta strives to participate in cultural preservation by providing an exhibition space that provides opportunities to access cultural products such as keris.
Organizing exhibitions in the campus environment is an effort for higher education to be able to further popularize keris in foreign countries so that it is better known to the world. The competence of the higher education academic community will make it easier to increase the popularity of keris as one of the cultural products of Indonesian society.
