Galeri R.J. Katamsi ISI Yogyakarta in collaboration with Perkumpulan Las Gangsir will organize a national keris exhibition titled "Rupa Rinengga" from 4 to 11 February 2022 at Galeri R.J. Katamsi ISI Yogyakarta. The exhibition will showcase 225 keris and other tosan aji from various regions in Indonesia. The krises that will be exhibited are from Yogyakarta, Solo, Central Java, East Java, and Madura, West Java, Sumatra, Bali, NTB, Bugis and others.
The organization of this cast is one of the efforts to preserve the keris as an Indonesian culture. The organization of the cast is proof that keris still exists and is loved by the Indonesian people. Through this cast, the Las Gangsir Association hopes to be able to gather fans, collectors and the general public of keris lovers from various cities in Indonesia.
Along with this exhibition, there will also be various other activities such as kris forging workshops, webinars or workshops, sungging warangka and tosa aji exchanges. These various activities are organized as an effort to attract public interest in kris and pamper kris lovers who watch the exhibition.
The exhibition is open to the general public. People who will be viewing this exhibition are required to adhere to health protocols, such as wearing masks, washing hands before entering the gallery, maintaining distance and not crowding.
