Peter Frans Gontha has many achievements, including having worked and oversaw various national mass media. In addition, he was the CEO of the reality show "The Apprentice Indonesia". He also served as Ambassador of Poland & former commissioner of Garuda. He was also dubbed as "The Godftaher of Jazz" for successfully initiating the legendary Jakarta International Java Jazz Festival.
On Saturday, September 4, 2021, at 15.00-17.00 WIB he will give a public lecture at the Department of Art Management FSR ISI Yogyakarta. In this lecture he will present two things. First, the experience of managing events / business management that he has been involved in so far, especially related to music, and other fields of art. Second, thoughts about the wealth / diversity of Indonesian culture that must be managed properly and sustainably by the government and society.
Because it is a "public lecture", the nature is more relaxed. Participants are open to the public, besides of course internal students and lecturers of ISI Yogyakarta. The Department of Art Management hopes that the presence of experts in the field of art management can become a national momentum in order to broadcast the discourse on better management of Indonesian cultural arts.
This agenda was held as part of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research and Technology's Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program.
