Visual Art Collaboration is organized to show visual artworks from Visual Arts Faculty of ISI Yogyakarta and national and international art faculty partners. The artworks will be displayed indoors and outdoors covering galleries and outdoor spaces at the faculty.

This exhibition presents the works of lecturers, students, and alumni of the mentioned universities. The works were curated under two sub-curatorial: (1) The works about realities or contextual issues and (2) The collected works of Institut Seni Indonesia Yogyakarta.

Visual Art Collaboration is focused on the efforts to deal with the realities including the new life arrangement and new society in the post-pandemic era. It aims at building the spirit to keep creating visual works after the pandemic ends. The new life order challenges the artists to be more and more creative. The existence of visual art creators and activists is truly meaningful.

Visual Art Collaboration (VAC) is part of the Jogja International Creative Art Festival (JICAF) program implemented in the form of an exhibition. The exhibition titled "Art of Reality" presents paintings, sculptures, interior design, graphic design, media art, outdoor installation art, ceramics, metal craft, textile craft, wood craft, murals, art archives, and curatorial work. The six-nation collaborative exhibition was attended by lecturers, alumni, and students.

The concept of the works presented focuses on two sub-curatorial areas: (1) works with the theme of reality or contextual issues from various universities; (2) works from the ISI Yogyakarta campus collection. Both sub-curatorials give their own uniqueness and make the campus complex more artistic. A number of works such as Ugo Untoro, Ichwan Noor, Hedi Hariyanto, Asnar Zacky, Timbul Raharjo, Putu Sutawijaya, Stefan Buana, Purjito, Dunadi, Lutse Lambert and others are presented.

Visual Art Collaboration focuses on efforts to deal with reality including the formation of a new order and society after the Covid 19 pandemic. The presence of this new order makes visual art creators challenged to be more creative and their presence is truly meaningful. This exhibition also aims to strengthen international cooperation between ISI Yogyakarta and foreign universities that have been established so far. +++
