Yogyakarta, May 18, 2026 — The Indonesian Institute of the Arts (ISI) Yogyakarta officially opened registration for its Independent Admission path for Bachelor's, Applied Bachelor's, and Master's in Design programs for the Academic Year 2026/2027 starting today, Monday (18/5). This Independent Admission registration is an important opportunity for prospective students from all over Indonesia to join a leading state arts campus with a strong ecosystem for art and design education, creation, study, and development.
The ISI Yogyakarta Independent Track New Student Admissions registration is scheduled to take place from May 18 to June 18, 2026, through the ISI Yogyakarta online admission system. Prospective applicants can read the selection guidelines, prepare their documents, and ensure all data and program of study choices are carefully filled out before registering.
The ISI Yogyakarta Independent Path is open for Bachelor's (S1), Applied Bachelor's (D4), and Master of Design (S2) programs across three faculties: the Faculty of Performing Arts, the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design, and the Faculty of Creative Media. Through the ISI Yogyakarta New Student Admission website, prospective students can choose various study programs with diverse competencies, such as arts, design, creative media, and culture. These include Dance, Gamelan Music, Music, Theater, Ethnomusicology, Fine Arts, Crafts, Interior Design, Visual Communication Design, Photography, Film and Television, Animation, as well as Film and Television Production. For the S2 level, prospective students can choose the Master of Design program. The Master of Design is a new study program under the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design.
The Independent Pathway Admissions (PMB Jalur Mandiri) not only opens regular selection channels but also offers affirmative action pathways, including 3T Area Affirmation, Achievement Affirmation, Regional Representative Affirmation, and Disability Affirmation.
