Committed to Quality and Professionalism, ISI Yogyakarta Presents Industry-Based Master Class Fine Printing

Yogyakarta, February 20, 2026 - The Faculty of Recording Media Arts (FSMR) of Institut Seni Indonesia (ISI) Yogyakarta reaffirmed its position as a center of excellence in media arts education by holding a Master Class “Fine Printing” with professional photographer Suherry Arno. The activity which took place in the Computer Laboratory of the Photography Department was an intensive learning space for students to explore professional quality photographic printing standards.

This master class presents a comprehensive discussion of fine art print techniques and philosophy, from digital file processing, color management, print media selection, to quality control of the final result. In an interactive session, Suherry Arno shared his industry practice experience as well as the professional work standards applied in the production of print works for exhibitions, collections, and commercial needs.

Students not only learn the technical aspects, but are also invited to understand that fine printing is a crucial stage in the process of creating photographic works. A work does not stop at shooting, but reaches its best quality when printed with precision, color consistency, and accuracy of detail.
