Collaboration between ISI Yogyakarta and Frogs Indonesia in “Art on Drone” Presents a Touch of Indonesian Culture in the World of Technology

Yogyakarta, October 30, 2025 - Along with the spirit of strengthening national identity and introducing the cultural side of technology, PT Inovasi Solusi Transportasi Indonesia (Frogs Indonesia) with Institut Seni Indonesia (ISI) Yogyakarta collaborated on an innovative project titled “Art on Drone”

This project combines the aesthetic value of the archipelago's culture with modern agricultural technology through the activities of painted two units of Sekar Agri drone top covers with the theme ”Technology Grows from the Culture of the Archipelago". This activity is a collaboration between Fine Arts Study Program, Faculty of Fine Arts and Design ISI Yogyakarta, and Frogs Indonesia in an effort to present works of art that are rooted in local culture but in harmony with national technological innovation. In this activity, two students of the Fine Arts Study Program, Sintia Nurul Oktania and Cruz Kyrie Pamangin, pouring their creativity as the main painter under the guidance of Yusuf Ferdinan Yudhistira, M.Sn. During the seven-day creative process at Painting Studio FSRD ISI Yogyakarta, The students explored the visual elements of the archipelago through an artistic approach that harmonized with the aerodynamic design of the drone.

This collaborative work is now on display at IndoTech Expo 2025, at the booth Frogs Indonesia, The exhibition is a showcase for the role of fine arts in inspiring the national technology industry, and has captured the attention of visitors with visuals that combine the archipelago's cultural identity and modern aesthetics. This exhibition is an important event to showcase how fine art plays a role in inspiring the national technology industry.

On the occasion of the opening of the exhibition, also held signing of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two institutions, represented by Head of the Department of Fine Arts FSRD ISI Yogyakarta, Satrio Hari Wicaksono, M.Sn., and CEO of Frogs Indonesia, Adhitya Chandra. This strategic move marks the long-term commitment of both parties to continue to deliver creative collaborations that incorporate art, culture and technology. Through this collaboration, ISI Yogyakarta emphasizes its role as an art education institution that is adaptive to the development of the creative-technology industry, as well as a bridge between the academic world and national industrial innovation.
