Yogyakarta, September 12, 2025 - The Faculty of Recording Media Arts of Institut Seni Indonesia (ISI) Yogyakarta established a strategic collaboration with PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) Daerah Operasi (DAOP) VI Yogyakarta and Batik Lawasan to hold a Photography Exhibition entitled "Jogja Where To Go". The exhibition, which was held in the public area of Tugu Station Yogyakarta, took place from September 12 to 21, 2025.
This exhibition was initiated by the Department Student Association (HMJ) Photography Study Program, Faculty of Recording Media Arts, ISI Yogyakarta. A total of 32 photographic works on display are the result of the creativity of the ISI Yogyakarta Photography Study Program academic community, which includes lecturers and students. The theme of the works displayed is to show the exotic side of Jogja and the original culture of Yogyakarta.
The official opening of the exhibition was held on September 12, 2025 at 17.00 WIB by the Dean of the Faculty of Recording Media Arts ISI Yogyakarta and the Head of Tugu Station Yogyakarta, marking the start of the exhibition which is open to the public and free for all passengers and station visitors.
The main objective of organizing this exhibition is to disseminate the science of recording media (photography) into strategic and high-traffic public spaces such as Tugu Station. In addition, this activity also aims to preserve and promote local culture through visuals, as well as provide a direct positive impact on the community by presenting accessible art treats in the midst of their transportation activities. Collaboration with Batik Lawasan also adds cultural value to the organization of this event.



Exhibition opening
