ISI Yogyakarta won the 4th rank of Jawametric UNS in 2025 for the category of domestic universities. This award was presented by the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Indonesia, Dr. Fadli Zon, S.S., M.Si. to Dr. M. Kholid Arif Rozaq, S.Hut., M.M, Vice Rector for Student Affairs, Cooperation, and Alumni. ISI Yogyakarta on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at Pendapa R. Ng. Yasadipura, PUI Javanology UNS. This achievement is better than the previous achievement which was ranked 10th.
UNS Jawametrik is an appreciation event organized by the Center for Excellence in Science and Technology (PUI) Javanology, Sebelas Maret University (UNS) to appreciate individuals and institutions that contribute to the preservation and development of Javanese culture. This award is divided into two categories, namely Top 10 UNS Jawametrik domestic universities and foreign universities that are active in the integration of Javanese culture into various aspects.
ISI Yogyakarta is considered an art college that has many traditional art study programs such as karawitan, pedalangan, dance, ethnomusicology and craft. The existence of these study programs will help in the maintenance and development of Javanese art and culture. Hopefully this achievement can be maintained and improved next year.
