The Department of Fine Arts, Faculty of Fine Arts and Design, ISI Yogyakarta held an international exhibition entitled "Hello There : Postcard Reconstruction" on November 28 - December 4, 2024 at Fadjar Sidik Gallery FSRD ISI Yogyakarta. The purpose of the international exhibition is to introduce and evoke the memory of the participating artists and also the appreciators related to postcards.
With the theme "Hello There", it is hoped that this exhibition will become a greeting space for many parties, whether it is the introduction of postcard media for the younger generation who are not familiar with it, and also a space for friendship for many parties involved in it, such as getting to know the character of art and culture raised by participating artists with backgrounds from many countries such as Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Hungary, Afghanistan, Granada, the Netherlands and Germany. Through the collaboration with PT Pos Indonesia and PFI (Perkumpulan Filateli Indonesia), the process of evoking memories of postcards and greeting each other can be done in an exhibition space that involves cross-country, generation and culture.
The international exhibition was curated by Satrio Hari Wicaksono (Head of the Fine Arts Department) and presented 200 works by 184 artists from Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Hungary, Afghanistan, Granada, the Netherlands and Germany.
