The Rector and the ISI Yogyakarta leadership symbolically released ISI Yogyakarta students who received Awardees Indonesian International Student Mobility Awards (IISMA) 2024, on Thursday, August 22, 2024, in the VIP Room of the Rectorate of ISI Yogyakarta. On this occasion Dr. Irwandi, M.Sn. (Rector) accompanied by Dr. Dewanto Sukistono, M.Sn (Assistant Rector I), Silvia Anggreni Purba, M.Sn (Head of the International Affairs Unit) and Dra. Esti Hapsari Saptiasi (Head of the Bureau of Academic Administration, Student Affairs, Planning, and Information Systems) released Davina Vanessa Grace Lontoh (Theater Study Program), Atikah Az Zahra (Arts Management Study Program), Alvin Dwi Fajar Karunia and Fifyan Nisrina Zahra (Music Education Study Program) IISMA 2024 awardees. The four students represented 8 of their colleagues who could not attend because they were preparing for departure.
IISMA is a scholarship scheme managed centrally by the Directorate General of Higher Education, Research and Technology (Ditjen Diktiristek), Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology to provide a one-semester learning experience at international campuses abroad. This scholarship scheme is one part of the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka Program. This program will provide experience to Indonesian students to experience the learning climate and culture abroad.
On this occasion Dr. Irwandi, M.Sn. as the Rector of ISI Yogyakarta expressed his gratitude for his initiative and efforts so that he could get the IISMA 2024 awardee. Hopefully the efforts of colleagues can inspire other ISI Yogyakarta students. Fellow students are expected to be able to optimize this opportunity to gain experience and build networks.
On this occasion Silvia Anggreni Purba, M.Sn as Chairperson of the International Affairs Unit and Person in Charge of IISMA 2024 ISI Yogyakarta reported to the leadership that this year there were 12 ISI Yogyakarta students who managed to get IISMA awardees. This is the largest number in the history of ISI Yogyakarta students' participation in IISMA. IISMA awardees will study for one semester at campuses in Asia, Australia and Europe.
