Faculty of Performing Arts ISI Yogyakarta Holds Thai & Indonesian Dance Performance

The Faculty of Performing Arts ISI Yogyakarta will organize Thai & Indonesia Dance Performance, which will be held on Friday, August 16, 2024, at the FSP Arena Theater ISI Yogyakarta. Thai & Indonesia Dance Performance starts at 15.00 WIB until completion. This dance performance will feature performers from various colleges in Thailand such as Lopburi College of Dramatic Arts, Suphanburi College of Dramatic Arts, Roi Et College of Dramatic Arts and the academic community of the Faculty of Performing Arts consisting of a collaboration of Dance, Ethnomusicology and Karawitan study programs.

At the Thai dance performance, Ram Wor Ra Chet, Fon Kon Dok, Fon Ram Plean and Ram Chat Chatri will be performed. Wor Ra Chet is a traditional dance from Central Thailand, Fon Kon Dok from Northern Thailand, Fon Ram Plean from Northeastern Thailand, Ram Chatri from Southern Thailand. For the delegation of the Faculty of Performing Arts ISI Yogyakarta will perform Sekar Pudyastuti traditional dance from Yogyakarta, Serampang 12 Riau and Bongkel from Banyumas.

Thai & Indonesian Dance Performance is organized as an implementation of the signing of the cooperation document between ISI Yogyakarta and Bunditpatanasilpa Institute, Thailand. This dance performance is open to the general public and free of charge.
