ISI Yogyakarta and Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Pasuruan signed cooperation documents on Friday, January 5, 2024, in Meeting Room II, ISI Yogyakarta Rectorate. the cooperation documents signed include MoU, MoA and IA. The signing of the MoU was carried out by the highest leaders of the two institutions which on this occasion was symbolically represented by Dr. M. Kholid Arif Rozaq, S.Hut., M.M as Assistant Rector III of ISI Yogyakarta and Dr. Amidatus Sholihat Jamil, M.Pd. as Vice Rector III of Nahdlatul Ulama University Pasuruan. The MoA was signed by the Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts ISI Yogyakarta, Muhamad Sholahuddin, S.Sn. M.T. and and Dean of the Faculty of Communication Sciences, University of Nahdlatul Ulama Pasuruan, Senjaya Machfudi Zulkif, M.I.Kom. While the IA, was signed by Daru Tunggul Aji, S.S., M.A. as the Head of the Visual Communication Design Study Program, FSR ISI Yogyakarta and Kharisma Nanda Zenmira, S.Pd., M.Sn. as the Head of the S1 Visual Communication Design Study Program, Faculty of Communication Sciences, University of Nahdlatul Ulama Pasuruan.
The procession of signing the cooperation document began with remarks from the leadership of the university, remarks from the leaders of the two faculties, signing of cooperation documents and discussion of cooperation implementation. In his remarks Dr. M. Kholid Arif Rozaq, S.Hut., M.M as Assistant Rector III of ISI Yogyakarta introduced the profile of ISI Yogyakarta and advised that this collaboration should not stop at drafting documents but at the implementation of cooperation. The remarks delivered by the Assistant Chancellor I of ISI Yogyakarta, echoed the remarks of the Vice Chancellor III of the University of Nahdlatul Ulama Pasuruan so that this collaboration did not become a sleeping MoU with no implementation of cooperation. The event continued with remarks from the deans of the two faculties who conveyed the profile of the Faculty of Fine Arts ISI Yogyakarta and the Faculty of Communication Sciences, University of Nahdlatul Ulama Pasuruan. After the speeches, the event continued with the signing of cooperation documents and discussions on the implementation of cooperation.
This collaboration is expected to improve the quality and quantity of the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education and the Merdeka Learning Program - Merdeka Campus. This collaboration allows both institutions to share resources for the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education and the Merdeka Belajar Program - Merdeka Campus.
