The Rector and leaders of ISI Yogyakarta provided support to students who competed in the Grand Final of the International Anti-Narcotics Day (HANI 2023). The Rector and the leadership of ISI Yogyakarta visited the Concert Hall ISI Yogyakarta, where the online performance of ISI Yogyakarta students who participated in the Grand Final of HANI 2023 on June 16, 2023 was held. The Rector was accompanied by the Vice Rector I of ISI Yogyakarta, the Dean of the Faculty of Performing Arts, the Chairperson of the Performing Arts Education Study Program and the Head of the Bureau of Academic Administration, Student Affairs, Planning, and Information Systems of ISI Yogyakarta. On this occasion, the Rector and leaders were also accompanied by leaders from the National Narcotics Agency of Yogyakarta Special Region.
In the Grand Final of HANI 2023, ISI Yogyakarta managed to place 5 representatives in all competition stalks such as vocal group, poetry, painting and band. For the vocal group competition ISI Yogyakarta was represented by Amabile Voice (Performing Arts Education and Music Education Study Program students), the poetry competition was represented by Hendrikus Elton Maldo (Theater Study Program) and Hawwaa Salsa Delphine Mursito (Performing Arts Education Study Program), the painting competition was represented by Morris Aliqsan Piero (Fine Arts Study Program) and the band competition was represented by Tiny Step (Music Presentation Study Program).
At the HANI 2023 Grand Final, ISI Yogyakarta students won first and second place for the poetry competition, first place for the band competition and second place for the painting competition. The champions will be invited to attend the HANI 2023 commemoration in Bali. Hopefully the achievements made by ISI Yogyakarta students can inspire other students.
