The ISI Yogyakarta Senate held a senate meeting with the main agenda of handing over the position of Rector or Chair of the Senate on Monday, April 17, 2023, at Meeting Room 1, ISI Yogyakarta Rectorate Building. The handover of the position of Rector and Chair of the Senate was carried out by Prof. Dr. M. Agus Burhan, M.Hum. as Rector and Chair of the ISI Yogyakarta Senate for the period 2019-2023 to the new Rector and Chair of the Senate, period 2023-2027, Prof. Dr. Drs. Timbuh Raharjo, M.Hum. This senate meeting was attended by all members of the ISI Yogyakarta Senate which consisted of 24 senators.
The handover procession began with the submission of the final memory of the position of Rector of ISI Yogyakarta for the 2019-2023 period, followed by remarks from the Rector or Chairperson of the Senate for the 2023-2027 Period and ended with the submission of the Decree on the appointment of the New Senate Chairperson from Prof. Dr. M. Agus Burhan, M.Hum. to Prof. Dr. Drs. Timbul Raharjo, M.Hum. In delivering the final memory of his position, Prof. Dr. M. Agus Burhan, M.Hum. conveyed several achievements of ISI Yogyakarta such as institute accreditation which received an "A" grade, student and lecturer achievements and international cooperation that has been carried out. The achievements that have been achieved by ISI Yogyakarta will continue to be maintained and improved, the Library will be digitized so that it can be optimized to support the international publications of lecturers and management adjustments in order to go to the Public Service Agency, said Prof. Dr. Drs. Timbul Raharjo, M.Hum. in his speech.
This handover procession marks the new leadership of the Senate and ISI Yogyakarta under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Drs. Timbul Raharjo, M.Hum. Hopefully ISI Yogyakarta under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Drs. Timbul Raharjo, M.Hum. will be more advanced.
