Jogja International Jazz Camp 2022, held at the Faculty of Performing Arts ISI Yogyakarta, will organize a free jam session for jazz musicians, communities, jazz lovers and the general public. This jam session is part of the Jogja International Jazz Camp 2022 series of activities. This jam session will be held from July 13 to 16, 2022 at the Old Rectorate Building of ISI Yogyakarta.
The jam session will provide knowledge and competence in playing jazz music. This jam session will be attended by international jazz musicians such as Nita Aartsen from Indonesia, Rubem Farias from Brazil/Sweden, Kuba SkowroÅ„ski from Poland, Lautaro Quevedo from Chile and Pablo Calzado from Cuba. By attending this session, jazz musicians, communities and jazz lovers in the country can gain new experiences playing jazz from international musicians.Â
Jogja International Jazz Camp 2022 organizes master classes, jam sessions and jazz concerts. This annual event is the result of cooperation between ISI Yogyakarta and the Jogja International Jazz Camp 2022 committee. This annual event always attracts the interest of the community as evidenced by the enthusiasm of the community to attend the event.
