The Faculty of Recording Media Arts held an Exhibition and Screening of Recording Media Art Works with the title "Art for Life Recovery - New Beginnings For The Future" in commemoration of the 38th Anniversary of ISI Yogyakarta. This exhibition will be held from June 20 to 27, 2022 using a hybrid system of combining online and offline. The offline exhibition will be held at the Pandeng Gallery of the Faculty of Recording Media Arts ISI Yogyakarta and the online exhibition can be accessed through www.galeripandeng.isi.ac.id and www.galeripandeng.isi.ac.id. This exhibition and screening of recorded media art is a collaboration between FSMR ISI Yogyakarta and @fiap_official and @rangkai.id
The opening of the exhibition and screening will be held on June 20, 2022, at 15.00 WIB and broadcast live through the Youtube Channel of FSMR ISI YOGYAKARTA. The exhibition and screening of recorded media art titled "Art for Life Recovery - New Beginnings For The Future" will be opened by the Rector of ISI Yogyakarta, Prof. Dr. M. Agus Burhan, M.Hum.
The theme of this exhibition and screening is New Beginnings For The Future. The pandemic has had an impact on all aspects of life, including the art of recorded media. Efforts continue to be made to bring recorded media art works together with the audience. The development of digital platforms is one of the bright ways. The utilization of digital platforms to provide access to recorded media artworks is a start towards a future where people can increasingly enjoy recorded media artworks.
Along with the exhibition and screening of recorded media art, two Recorded Media Art Content Dialogues were also held with the theme "Online Screening Opportunities Through Digital Screens" and "Study of Recorded Media Art ISI Yogyakarta". The Recorded Media Art Content Dialogue with the theme "Opportunities for Online Screening Through Digital Screens" is the result of collaboration between Rangkai.id and the Film and Television Study Program. This first dialog is intended for lecturers, students whose work passes the curation. The second Media Art Content Dialogue with the theme "Recording Media Art Studies ISI Yogyakarta" is intended for high school / vocational high school students with an interest in Recording Media Art studies (Photography, Film and Television, Animation). Schools can invite the exhibition committee and FSMR ISI Yogyakarta online through a zoom account (account and certificate provided by the committee) to have a dialogue about Recorded Media Art and its works shown at the exhibition. The first art dialogue will be held on June 23, 2022 and the second dialogue will be held on June 21 to 27, 2022.
The exhibition and screening of recorded media art titled "Art for Life Recovery - New Beginnings For The Future" is open to the general public. The public can visit Pandeng Gallery to watch the exhibition in person and to access the exhibition online, the public can access www.galeripandeng.isi.ac.id and www.galeripandeng.isi.ac.id.
