Students of the 2020 Anggatan Dance Department, Faculty of Performing Arts, ISI Yogyakarta will hold a virtual performance entitled "Metamorfosa", on January 31, 2022, at 19.00 until completion. This virtual performance will be broadcast through the Youtube channel of HMJ TARI ISI YOGYAKARTA. The virtual performance entitled Metamorfosa is the first performance for dance students class of 2020.
Point to point, moment to moment. Complaints become love stories. Along the same path, standing tall and supporting each other. Nothing is really lost. It just changes into something else, something more beautiful. These series of sentences become the concept of a virtual performance that will be performed by 2020 Dance Department Students with the title Metamorphosa.
The pandemic that has not ended has caused the 2020 Dance Department students to choose the concept of virtual eradication. The concept of virtual performance will minimize direct interaction between dancers and other personnel involved in the performance so as to minimize the potential for virus transmission. Virtual performances also open up greater opportunities for the public to watch performances because they can be accessed via smart phones owned by the public.
