As part of the implementation of the MBKM program that has been launched by Kemenristekdikti, the Pure Art Study Program of FSRD ISI Surakarta signed a Cooperation Agreement (PKS) with the S-1 Art Management Study Program of FSR ISI Yogyakarta. The activity was carried out on Thursday, January 6, 2022 at the S-1 Art Management Study Program of the Faculty of Fine Arts ISI Yogyakarta.
The event was attended by the Dean of FSR ISI Yogyakarta Dr. Timbul Raharjo, M.Hum., Deputy Dean II FSRD ISI Surakarta and Plt. Head of the Department of Fine Arts ISI Surakarta Amir Gozali, M.Sn., and Head of the Department of Art Management S-1 FSR ISI Yogyakarta Dr. Mikke Susanto, M.A. This agreement is a follow-up to the MoU between institutions and also as part of strengthening good relations and expanding networks between art colleges.
Before the signing of the collaboration, an online meeting was held between the two Departments to discuss the form of academic products for both parties, especially regarding the acceleration of the implementation of the MBKM program. Each study program presented excellent areas that could be worked on together. The goal is to improve the quality of human resources, especially the mastery of student and lecturer competencies in the field of fine arts governance.
In addition, this collaboration is also expected to be able to produce programs that benefit the wider community through the implementation of the Tri Dharma of higher education. Both departments also agreed to focus on student and lecturer exchanges. Not to forget this relationship will be carried out scientific research cooperation in the MBKM program, and exchange of manuscripts and / or editors of scientific journals.
For this reason, both Departments expect the support of students, lecturers, institutional managers and the community. So that graduates of these two institutions can find a suitable place in the industrial world as idealized.
