The Student Association of the Department of Theater, Faculty of Performing Arts, ISI Yogyakarta organized a 2021 home concert entitled "Dukuh Konoha". Home Concert is a theater performance that will be held virtually on October 11, 2021. The public can watch the virtual theater performance through the Youtube channel of the ISI Yogyakarta Theater Department Student Association. Dukuh Konoha is the work of Pigar Alam Wiguna and directed by Luqman Hakim and assistant director Dimas Ju Ju.
The theater performance with the title "Dukuh Konoha" will describe how people live in Konoha Village with the main character Engtai Grandfather. Engtai's grandfather is the oldest figure of Konoha Village who is a role model for the residents of Konoha Village. Engtai's grandfather always meditates to improve his magic and asks the gods to give Konoha Village safety and prosperity. Thanks to Grandpa Engtai's asceticism, the people of Konoha Village were given happiness in the form of a bumper harvest. The farmers of Konoha Village also took part in the efforts to achieve a bumper harvest by finding solutions to produce superior agricultural products. One day the farmers found a fertilizer that according to the seller could guarantee to produce superior results, some farmers believed in it and some were pessimistic. Finally, a bumper harvest occurred again with superior crop quality. The villagers then asked what actually made their harvest successful with superior products. Was it the prayers of Engtai's grandfather that had ensured their prosperity or the newly-emerged synthetic fertilizer that they had chosen? The answer to this question will be answered by watching the theater performance of "Dukuh Konoha".
Home concert 2021 with the title "Dukuh Konoha" involves several characters and artists. The character of Grandfather Engtai was played by Mukhlis Mu'arif, the puppeteer was played by Cholsverde, Mbok Yem was played by Lennymuu, the shop boy was played by Winda Septi, Mr. No was played by Ghani FM, Mr. Ndul was played by Yosep Darusman, Pak Jo played by Abita Dacil, Pak Nang by Yusuf Jamhuri and Kevin Abani by Pak Nimil and the residents played by Maulida Qibti, Iqbal Najah, Dimas Zee, Amelia Syadiah, Aca Ardyansyah, Zahid and Ukhi Daragia.
Home concert 2021 is proof that the Student Association of the Department of Theater, Faculty of Performing Arts ISI Yogyakarta is able to work during the pandemic. This virtual performance format provides wider access to the public to enjoy theater performances. The public can watch the theater performance through smart phone without having to come to the performance space.
