ISI Yogyakarta held a limited open senate session in the framework of the 37th Anniversary. This senate session is the opening of a series of activities organized in order to commemorate the 37th Anniversary of ISI Yogyakarta. This senate session was held on April 31, 2021, at the ISI Yogyakarta Concert Hall Building. The series of senate session events began with watching a video of congratulations for ISI Yogyakarta from various sources. stake holders, continued with the senate session process and ended with watching digital posters sent by other universities to congratulate ISI Yogyakarta on its anniversary.
In this open senate session, the speech of the Rector of ISI Yogyakarta, Prof. Dr. M. Agus Burhan, M.Hum. entitled "The Revival of Art in the New Normal Era" and a Scientific speech delivered by Dr. Irwandi, M.Sn, with the title "Reading Disruption in Photography: Reflecting on the Journey of Portrait Studio in Yogyakarta".
This senate session was held in compliance with the health protocol and was only attended by 6 members of the institute senate. With this concept, it is hoped that the senate session procession in commemoration of the Anniversary can still be carried out with due regard to the Covid-19 prevention health protocol.
