The D4 Music Presentation Study Program, Institut Seni Indonesia Yogyakarta collaborates with American violinist Riana Heath to hold virtual violin classes. The virtual violin class will be held on February 13, 2021, at 19.00 WIB until completion. This class is intended for ISI Yogyakarta students and for students who want to take part in this virtual class can contact Dr. Asep Hidayat Wirayudya with the contact number 0819-0592-5149. The implementation of virtual violin classes is expected to be able to improve the competence of playing the violin of ISI Yogyakarta students.
Riana Heath is a violinist who performs solo and is a member of the chamber music. The American-born violinist began studying violin at the age of six at the Moscov Conservatory. At the age of 13 Riana Heath moved to Europe to continue her violin education. She currently teaches violin and performs violin at her alma mater Mozarteum University. In 2019-2020, Riana Heath obtained an Erasmus+ scholarship so that she was given the opportunity to study for one year at the Conservatoire National Superiuer de Dense et de Musique de Paris under the guidance of Prof. Michael Hentz.
